ADES International Holding has secured two offshore drilling contracts worth a combined SAR 858.3 million (about $228.56 million), expanding its footprint in West Africa and the North Sea.

In Nigeria, Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited has awarded ADES a contract for the Shelf Drilling Odyssey jack-up rig valued at SAR 375.3 million (roughly $100.1 million), including mobilisation, demobilisation and its local partner’s share. The agreement covers a two-year firm period with two unpriced one-year extension options, with drilling due to start in the first quarter of 2027, following an earlier 2026 contract win for the Shelf Drilling Victory rig in Nigeria.

The dual awards reflect continued momentum in offshore drilling activity across the North Sea and West and Central Africa, supporting ADES’s regional growth strategy. Headquartered in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia after relocating from Egypt, where it was founded in 2002, ADES operates a fleet of about 90 rigs across 13 countries and serves as a contract drilling partner for Saudi Aramco.
