Getting it Right: Unlocking Africa’s Energy Future
The African Energy & Oil and Gas Organization (AEOGO) is pleased to announce the 4th edition of the International African Energy, Oil and Gas Summit (IAEOGS 2025) — Africa’s premier platform for shaping investment, innovation, and policy in the energy sector.
This year, the Summit heads to Windhoek, Namibia — a rapidly emerging energy hub and a beacon of African progress in oil, gas, and renewables. The event will take place from October 6–9, 2025, bringing together more than 1,000 delegates, 250 exhibitors, 200 speakers, and participants from 45+ countries.
IAEOGS 2025 will spotlight Africa’s defining moment to accelerate energy access, localize value chains, and drive inclusive energy transitions. The Summit offers a high-level multi-stakeholder platform where government leaders, global financiers, oil and gas operators, energy innovators, regulators, academia, and civil society convene to unlock investment and partnerships that will shape Africa’s energy future.
Travel Note for Participants
To ensure a smooth and productive experience, all participants are encouraged to review the following travel guidelines:
Visa and Entry
- Please check visa requirements for Namibia well in advance.
- Official invitation letters are available upon request for visa processing.
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
Accommodation
- A list of official partner hotels in Windhoek will be shared with registered delegates.
- Early booking is advised, as October is a busy season in the city.
Flights and Transfers
- The main entry point is Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH), located 40 km from central Windhoek.
- Airport transfers will be arranged for premium delegates, speakers, and sponsors.
On-Site Logistics
- The Summit venue is Windhoek Conference Centre.
- Registration opens on October 5, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
- Shuttle services will be provided from partner hotels to the venue.
